Re: EXPIRED

  • Why is "Night Before" capitalized?
  • well.. we will spend the night before in the same house but in different rooms. we will see each other briefly in the morning for breakfast, but then we each go our seperate ways and won't see one another until 6pm when the ceremony starts.

  • We will be apart the night before. I like the traditional idea of not seeing each other and having the excitement build up. He will be staying with his brothers and I will be in our suite.

We have a hotel room together the night before. A) I didn't want to stay at my parent's house, I want some peace and quiet and relative calm that night. B) It's hard for me to sleep without him, the night before will be even worse. C) I don't see the point in staying apart.

  • I hope we're all smart enough to realize separate events without capitalizing unnecessary words.

  • Apart, I'll be at my parents house and he'll be at a friends.

We'll be apart, I'll be staying at my parents' house and he'll be staying in the hotel.  This is a logistical nightmare but for some reason it seems to be the only way it can work.  I have a feeling I'll just be sad about having my last night in my old room.... it'll be weird. I might make one of my MOHs stay with me though because she is incapable of being anywhere on time, so I really doubt she'll be there on time in the morning, so maybe that'll make it a little less sad.  And my other MOH is my sister so she'll be across the hall lol.

  • I'm a self-proclaimed grammar nazi. I can't help it. It drives me nuts and makes me twitch.
  • Midge you can't call yourself a grammar nazi!!!  Seriously though, Midge is right and at elast for me when things are not written correctly I can't get through them

With that said, we're spending the night together.
  • I'll be spending The Night Before....The Wedding....apart from him.  Like I do every night.

Yes! I've tried to read it several times without it bugging me but I always think of  The Night Before Christmas book.
  • Together for sure.  We've been sleeping together every night for the last 5 years....no reason to change that now.  We also don't have the money to pay for TWO hotel rooms.....

  • We'll be at the same hotel, but in different rooms.

I'll tell him good night after the rehearsal dinner and won't see him again until our first look. I don't think my mom would have allowed for us to sleep together. That and my grandma will be around and she still doesn't know FI and I live together, so I'm trying to avoid that scandal...
  • WITH! I would be a mess if we werent.. well be in the Hotel suite that well have that night, well just separate in the late morning when we have to meet with our parties to get ready. I cannot sleep without and will probably be a nervous wreck anyway so Im glad well be together :)

Because it's a national holiday, as sanctioned by the POTUS. Duh.
  • I think everyone needs to stop ganging up on Midge.

If people can get away with being PWs, using annoying colored fonts, and walls of text bigger than the Great Wall of China, then she should be able to correct someone's grammar.

  • I'm going to have more than enough trouble sleeping as it is.... I don't need one more thing keeping me awake. We'll sleep together, like always.

I'll be missing our cats, though, since they sleep with us but obviously wont be joining us in the hotel or for the wedding. )=
  • I'll be at my mom's house, FI will be at the hotel. He is seriously more obsessed than I am with not seeing each other at all on the morning of the wedding day.
    Anniversary
  • We will spend the night before our big day at my fiance's parents' house in separate rooms.
  • Apart...I will need my space

  • Together at our house with our dogs. Would be wierd not to sleep together.
  • In regards to Midge, I agree with Kelsey.

To answer the question though, I'll be at a hotel with my aunt and mom.  I wanted to stay the night with my FI just like every other night but they decided to claim me.  We're also going out to breakfast before getting our hair done so I agreed.
