I am usually pretty dark & do not burn very often. On friday after only being out in the sun for 2 hours i got a severe burn. It is worse than i orignally thought. It peeled yesterday & under the brown it was beet red again. I bought some after the sun lotion & also had some aloe w/lidocane (same as solarcane) that specifically is for burns, I tried to put them on (seperately) and within 10 seconds of both i was crying it was burning again & the pain was tremendous.
Needless to say fiance was frantic & trying to get it off gently but as fast as he could, we had to put on icepacks till the burning stopped then put on polysporin & non adhesive bandages. That is really all we could do, my question is this:
How bad have you burnt before & what did you do for it?
