Yesterday my mom, FMIL, MOH and aunt went to the golf course where my shower is going to be on April 1st. We figured out the menu, sundae bar, and linen colors. I'm happy that it will be in the formal dining room overlooking the golf course instead of the downstairs banquet room. I used to work there and the banquet room is not the nicest place so I'm happy about that. We are also the first event of the year and found out they will set everything up for us ahead of time so the morning before we can see the room all set up and bring the centerpieces, ice cream, etc. Plus, the waitresses will be the ones to scoop the ice cream for the sundae bar so my BM's won't have to do it. Best of all, it's about $1500 for about 80 people which is really good here!
Then they all came back here and we put together my centerpieces. We need some more flowers and stones so I will probably stop by Michael's today. Here is the pic (will either be on royal blue or black napkins and the candles will be floating). I just chose a sample of the 3 sized/shape glasses and the 3 colors. They will all be mixed.
