I'm trying to get motivated to do some homework, but TK just sounds like more fun!

I'm here for a bit.  I won't be on long though.  Today was another long, frustrating day working, dealing with the credit union, looking at more houses, and taking my dog to the vet where he was there all day for some testing and observations.  Apparently, my dog has a mass near his spleen that has some concern and he wasn't eating today, was cold, his heart beat was slow, and his gums were white-ish suggesting he wasn't getting enough oxygen.  After $367 of imaging, meds, oxygen, and IV he's doing better.  We'll get an ultrasound of the mass later but the xray didn't show anything bad.

MMR - where are you looking at houses? That's so exciting! Sorry to hear about your dog... I hope he's better soon!

My day was stressful... I worked a 12 and I had a young patient who had had a catestrophic stroke... heartbreaking   aaaaand I work another 12 tomorrow! Wooo!

Nothing exciting to me, but friends of mine are pregnant!!!!! They have been trying for a long time.

Drew - We're looking at houses in Southfield, Eastpointe, Roseville, Sterling Heights, Utica, Shelby Township, and in that area (so northern east side).  We decided to stay in the area and I'll either be at UM or mostly online for my program so it makes life easier to just stay where my FI can keep his job that he loves. 

Do you know of any departments looking for an admin or admin assistant by chance?  There are a few in and around AA that I'm looking at applying to with UM having a number of positions.

MMR - Good luck house hunting! BTW, I got my schedule for March so we need to set up another GTG that I can make it to this time! As for admins/assistants... The administrative assistant in my department is graduating from nursing school in May, and might be leaving her current position then. That's all I got... I'm sure there is tons of openings! Are you checking UM's job postings?

I'm here!  FI and I just got back from dinner, he took me out for Indian   I'm trying not to panic over the huge mass of work I've got over the next two weeks...:(

I just got home. My brothers and I took my mother out for dinner for her birthday. It was a pretty good night out. Two out of three of my brothers, my mom, my niece and her boyfriend.

One of my brothers and I had some stuff going on and he really didn't like FI (too much to go into) but I think he's actually coming around and will be attending our wedding. I'm actually really glad and it kind of means something to me, especially where he didn't attend my first wedding (another long story).

Kris, that sounds like a nice time!  I'm glad you're patching things up with your brother, I hope he makes it to the wedding.

Me too. There was one point that I didn't know if all three of them were going to come. Each time we see each other, it seems to be getting a little better. They all just think FI isn't good enough for me, but they are starting to realize that he treats me really good and he does take care of me. They just thought he was a mooch and crap, but in reality, he's a really hard worker and puts time and effort into everything he does.

FI and I had a great day. It was gorgeous down here so we after we slept in a bit and had coffee we changed his oil on his car. We got a 3 mile run in and did some grocery shopping. We made an awesome dinner---shrimp mofongo and red beans and rice! Watching the U of M basketball game right now and hopefully doing some more honeymoon researching while having some beers

I'm around for a little bit, but FI is about to subject me to The Thing-the movie, that's not a euphemism for his "thing" We went to AAA today and booked our flights, hotels and car rental for the HM thank GOD.

I went to my parents today and had dinner. My brother and his girlfriend got home from a cruise today and he has to go back to Cinci to school tomorrow so I wanted to spend some time with him. 

Now I am just watching the basketball game and waiting for fi to get home from work.

I'm here for a bit. I'm snuggling with Max and enjoying a glass of sangria, while FI watches Nascar (not my thing, but he likes it). We took Max to the bark park today and he's exhausted, so he's being extra snuggly now.

It was actually more interesting than I thought it would be. This probably sounds dumb, but are there usually that many cars that catch on fire in a race? I'm enough of a weenie when it comes to driving IRL. Watching cars spin out and/or catch on fire like some of them did tonight stressed me out.

I agree about the GTG.  I couldn't go to the last one either.  Let me know what days you are available and I'll start planning it. 

Is the job posted yet?  I've checked the UMs job listings I think 3 times now and applied to a few.
