My FMIL & FSILs are throwing me a shower in FI's hometown (1.5 hours from mine). I'm trying to decide if I should invite this one girl to the shower or not. She is FI's best man's "baby-mama". I say this because they only dated for a couple weeks, broke up, and then got back together once she found out she was pregnant.
I've never met her, but I do know FI's best man very well. The girl in question had her baby shower this weekend, and it was a co-ed shower, so the invite came to both myself and FI. (FI is also going to be the baby's Godfather.) I wasn't able to attend because I was out of town all weekend, but now I'm not sure if I should invite her to my in-laws' shower (they're leaving it up to me).
FI's best man's mother is invited to the shower, so she will know her at least, but that's the only person there that she'll know. I don't mind inviting her at all, I just don't want to look gift-grabby since I haven't met her.
