I had so much fun today and it was nothing what I thought it was going to be like. I ended up bring FMIL with me because FI got called into work last min. Well we got to the reception hall and their event planner met us at the lobby and brought us into the restaurant. She got us drinks (any kind we wanted, FMIL got wine) and shortly after she brought us out a salad. Then after a little bit she brought out the three dinners I told her I wanted to try. I thought they where going to be little samples but they brought it out exactly like it would be served at the wedding. After she left us alone for a little bit she came back and I told her what I liked and what I wanted. I went with the Chicken, mashed potatos and corn (wanted something country-ish for our theme). We had tons left over and she let us bring it home so FI could try it(:
