pressing/cleaning wedding dress

Hi Ladies,

My wedding is about 5 hours away and we are going up a couple days early.  I am wondering what to do about getting my dress pressed and possibly cleaned.  It probably doesn't need to be cleaned, but I will need to get it pressed.  What are you guys doing?

Also I'm a little nervous about just taking it to the cleaners!

I am taking it to the cleaner down the road about a week before the wedding.

My alterations lady presses the dresses for us.

If I were you, I would just ask around for a reputable cleaner and go there.

I'm getting mine done with my alterations.

Like Jess said, I'd just ask a reputable cleaner.

I am taking mine to get pressed and re-cleaned on Thursday

I took mine to a bridal shop and had them press it.  I figured they were used to doing that, so I trusted them to do a good job with it!

I am taking mine to a local bridal shop to have it steamed.

Mine is getting done with my alterations and I'm picking it up about a week beforehand. Like the other ladies said ask around for a reputable cleaner.
