Invitation Question

On the invitation, on the main part do I put the time as when the ceremony is starting?

Is it okay on the back for it to say "Guests may start arriving at 3:30 p.m.. Ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 p.m."  The front - main part of the invite will list 4:00 p.m.

Our wedding is small like 55 people of which 99% is our immediate family just parents and siblings and their families. THe other 1% is our best friends lol

You put then the ceremony begins.  Adults should know to be in their seats in advance.

If you don't think a few guests are aware of what is custom, maybe have an aunt or someone with a little authority mention it to them at some point prior to the bid day.

Thanks everyone. That is what I was originally thinking but then I began panicking ans wasn't sure haha

I would just stick with the time the ceremony begins on the invitation.  Especially with a small guest list, people will know to arrive a bit early.  You can spread the suggested arrival time around by word-of-mouth if you're worried about people being prompt.

This.  I think most people know that the time on the invitation is the start time.

I agree, people will know to arrive early to make sure they don't miss anything so I would just put the start time and tell people by word of mouth when to arrive.
