What are you doing with your tax return?

I am looking for a treadmil (I think I am going to buy FI's aunts) and need to get my license plates renewed for my truck. Everything else, if there is any, will go into the wedding. I am trying to buy stuff as we go so it doesn't all pile up at the end.

I just put it in the bank like always. It will probably be about the same amount as FI's wedding ring so I guess that's where it will be spent.

I am going to use it on my FI's wedding band, anythning left over will go to the honeymoon!

Who knows! I have no idea what I will be getting back.  FI is going to buy a new car with his (but most likely not until after the wedding).  I wanted a new car too, but that's my treat if I get a job.  He needs a new car more than me!

FI's will go to the wedding fund, and mine will go toward my expenses - which also helps the wedding fund, because then FI doesn't have to pay as much of them

Usually I get back around $4-5K but I'm pretty sure it's going to be more this year as I am claiming FI and his son! So, credit card bills will be paid, some towards the wedding, some into savings, and some to be spent on clothing and such that we need. I'm getting mine done next Tuesday and actually can't wait to see how much I will actually be getting back. Oh, and FI asked for $1K (for his savings/spending) so I agreed to it as he won't be getting much back.

I'm pretty bummed that I won't be getting much back this year. What I do get will probably go to a 100k mile checkup on my car. If there is any leftover then it will go into savings for wedding stuff. I am really starting to hate what this wedding has done to my bank account.

Both my FI and my returns will be mostly going into the wedding fund to pay off the rest of the wedding.  Beyond that the money, though a likely small amount, will go to our new house that we are working on getting.

We bought our wedding bands with it, and put most of the rest in the wedding fund. The little bit left over we wound up spending on outfits for our engagement pics (which we are taking on Saturday!).

We're getting a hefty amount back so we're putting some of it towards the wedding, car maintenance and doing some small things to our house. But right now it's all in a limbo as we can't file his federal taxes right now because hes getting an error that taxes have already been filed with his ssn.. =/ So now he has to call the IRS to figure out what the heck is going on. Ugh! I knew things were going to smooth!

Both of ours will probably be added to the "wedding fund." Luckily, the "fund" currently covers most of our costs already so anything we don't "need" from our tax refunds will be spilt between paying bills and house projects most likely.

I don't even know if I'm getting anything back because I can't do my taxes because my old job won't send me my W2!!! They said they sent it "several weeks ago" which I definitely find hard to believe because every year when I worked there they were handed out at 4:45 on January 31st. And it does not take 2 and a half weeks to get mailed across town! GRR

So far I bought the linens (chair covers, overlays and napkins), ordered the flower girl dress and put a deposit on our rings. Also sent my ering out to get dipped. Plus the dog had a vet appointment and I paid bills. That's just with my state check. Still waiting for federal so we can pay off the venue and get Our passports.
