BM shoes...suggestions

So when I emailed my lovely biffle bridesmaids awhile back telling them what dresses they could chose from (Pool blue, alfred angelo) I said that they could choose any black shoe they wanted, preferably something comfortable that they already have.

Today my MOH emailed me asking me what kind of shoes I wanted them to get, pool, nude, or black? I told her that before I had suggested black because most likely everyone owns a pair and I don't want people to spend more money if they don't have to. She said black might stick out (short dresses) and nude might look better, but that it was up to me and she wanted me to be happy (how cute...). But now I don't know what to do...

I voted for choice #3.

It may be a nuisance to have to email all of them and gather their opinions but they may all be thinking nude looks better but are too afraid to speak up because they think everyone else likes black.

I also voted for #3. Hopefully your BM's are better at responding to emails then mine are.

I voted for 'stick with black' but at the same I think it would be good to ask their opinions as well. Black is very versatile, and I personally think tthe black would look good with that color rather than beige.

Haha I was trying to make it easy for them with plain black. I just don't want to seem flippant, or demanding you know? Like I know I said black but now you need to go and get nudeeeee. Plus I hate the word nuuuude. 

Bethany I was thinking the same thing, I know they have all been in contact with each other.  I just don't want it to be a 4-1 decision or come down to money, or make someone feel that *I* need it to be nude so they just agree.  Because they are all like that.

I vote stick with black. Everyone owns black shoes. I was in a wedding last yearwe wore short, light grey dressed with black shoes. Trust me, no one was looking at the BM shoes. Also, I'm just not a fan of nude shoes. If you don't want to wear heels it's nearly impossible to find nude flats.

I had posted "I love being nude" with "being" crossed out.  But when I pressed post the strikethrough font didn't take.

So my post just said "I love being nude." Which made me look like a total creep.

My girls also did something similar, I was all "well im already making you spend money on this dress and we all decided to get hair and makeup professionally done, shoes arent important to me so wear whatever looks good to you!" I said this thinking theyd love it, silly me. All my girls were like "Whoa whoa let all atleast get the same color shoes!" so they all chose silver/gray to go with their Malibu dresses. Love my girls haha

I chose 3 but desperately wanted to chose 'Special Snowflake'.

We were never allowed to say nude or naked in reference to adults as kids. Weird right...believe me I know. So we would had fun instead with coming up with synonyms for nude. I guess strict rules have a way of furthering your education:-)
