So the monogram post got me thinking; my Fi's name is William, but everyone knows him as Bill/Billy. I know invitations are formal, and so it would say William, correct? Our wedding is outdoors in a tent, and not super formal. Does that change things? Would the monogram use W/William or B/Bill?
