TGIF!! wanted to get a feel (and kinda vent lol)! is it just me or did you also get annoyed when people asked you where you bought your dress after they found out you said yes to your dress? As if the store will determine how beautiful the dress is and how awesome you'll look in it on your big day?! I'm sure no bride would get something "not flattering" on them no matter where they shopped for it, right? How are you responding when people asked that? I just said its going to be a surprise for everyone. Even though under my breath I'm also saying who cares where I bought it lol

Hmmm, when people asked it didn't bother me one way or another.  I would assume it is just a curiosity thing, not a reflection of judgment, but that is just me.  People get their dresses in a great variety of places.  Personally, I'm not a label snob or anything so I really care less about designers/stores, etc.  I'm sure wherever you purchased your dress it will be beautiful.

Nah I don't care what people think.  Honeslty I've only ever really heard of Kleinfelds and Priscillas of Boston.  I didn't go to either of those.  I went to a small shop near my home town and when I walk in they are so excited to see me.  As awesome as I am, I doubt Randy would remember me.  

Oh, and Ditto Shane. I don't really see there being a Walmart for wedding gowns.

I never thought anything of it when people asked. I just figured they were curious, as I would be. I'm sure no one meant it in a mean way unless they are a label snob, and if that's the case they probably wouldn't be satisfied with anything, so too bad for them!

It didn't bother me either. What did bother me is when my FMI asked me about my dress and got insulted when I said I didn't want her to see it. Quite frankly I do not want any of his side of the family to see my dress. Call me old fashioned but I have always thought it to be bad luck for the groom's side to see the dress. I had told her it was nothing against her but I only showed my dress to my Mom, Grandma, Matron of Honor, and my Aunt. I havent even showed it to my other Maid of Honor... I don't know what the big deal was

I constantly have people asking me about my dress and wedding plans. I don't mind sharing a few things but when they start asking how much i paid for things it really annoyed me...specially when is people that aren't that close to me. I usually answer " well dresses can go from 200 to thousands depending on where you go" and then i change the conversation as a sign that i don't want to tell you! and is not even that my dress is cheap bc i paid more than i wanted to pay but i just think people shouldn't ask that, and to make it worse when people ask me about wedding plans and i tell them they are always saying don't waste your money save it and buy a house or travel.....and it make me feel like my wedding doesn't mean anything i hate it!!!!!!!!! is obvious that if we are having a wedding is bc we can afford it ...:/ sorry ladies i just had to vent  lol
