Ok, so I've put FI in charge of the limo situation, however I'm struggling to figure out how this will work. No one in my family can seem to think of a logical solution to the transportation problem.
FI and I obviously have to get ready in different places with our bridesmaids/groomsmen. We are having the ceremony at my church (does not have an area to get ready), about 5 minutes away from my parents' house. We are then going to take pictures with the wedding party, and then to the hotel for the reception, where we will also be staying for the night (as will the bridal party). So the dilemna is, how do all of the groomsmen, plus FI, get to the church? I assume they'll get ready at the hotel, but if a groomsman drives to the ceremony, his car would end up left at the church when we went to take pictures. There will be 5 groomsmen, plus FI, so they'd probably have to take two cars also.
I don't want to have to get two limos, with one just to bring the groomsmen and FI to the church. I assume my parents will just ride with my bridesmaids and I in the limo. Does anyone else have this type of transportation fiasco, and how are you dealing with it?
