I finished all the pieces to my boot cake toppper!!!

Now a great picture, but it's good enough.

Now I just have to make the base and put it all together.

NWR:

- started to work on a firm budget for ourselves so that we can hopefully reach our goal of buying a place before the end of the year

- created a routine that we're starting this week so hopefully all goes well.

WR: 

- bought all the flowers so I'll probably start putting them together this weekend

- painted the 'we do' letters for the cake table

- finished painting the card box and letters for the box so now I just have to put it all together

- got the jars for the candy table and determined what candy we want

- painted the plaques for the candy table

- we also paid off all our vendors except the caterer and baker so that was exciting

Met with my girls yesterday and discussed dates with them. Also went over stuff for the Jack & Jill. Finally, they all seem to be on the same page about things and gettiing along.

-Alterations appt will be at the end of April
-Make up trials will be in May
-Hair trial will be in March/April
Now, just need to call and book the appointments.

Discussed food, raffles, etc for Jack & Jill. Can't wait for March 24th!

Oh my gosh, that cake topper is adorable!

WR: I sent my wedding band off to be resized on Saturday. Tonight is my first dress fitting and we're going ribbon shopping/other random stuff for the wedding. Tomorrow is my hair trial. One more BM ordered her dress. Only three more to go!

I just bought all of the linens, napkins and chair covers for under $400 from linentablecloth.com with their AWESOME sale.

We meet with our pastor on the 15th- finally!

Us too... I have been SO excited to get started with our marriage counseling.... and now that we have the date set I am all of a sudden nervous! HAHA!

Forgot to mention the keeper of the rings dress came in. She ordered it last Saturday so I was surprised how quickly it came in. Just waiting on the sash....

We started counseling months ago. But we are doing that with another pastor and our lead pastor is doing the wedding assuming his wife doesn't have the baby the day of. Ugh.

My fourth and final BM bought her dress on Sunday! So excited and happy to have that done. It should be here in mid-April so plenty of time for her to get it altered if she wants!

Also, found the jewelry for the girls and got that purchased. I made all my appointmens for hair and make-up trial for a whirlwind weekend in April when we head down to CA for our food tasting.

We also got our first wedding gift! We received a donation to our Honeyfund in the form of paying for one night in our hotel!

My family was in town this weekend, and they brought along my little sister's BM dress. She put it on for me and it looks so good on her! I'm excited for all the other girls to get theirs. I think they've all ordered them--at least 2/3 have. This is the dress:

In other news, I bought my "travel" wedding band today! I had been planning to order a plain, cheap tungsten band online, but hadn't gotten around to sizing my finger properly. Then I was walking through the mall on campus and I saw a sign in the jeweler's window saying "Stainless steel rings - $10." I walked by, then turned around and walked back. I went inside and wasn't terribly impressed at first--the vast majority of them were really wide spinny rings (which I think would drive me crazy)--pretty masculine looking. Then I found one non-spinny ring with a spider cut-out! See, I have a thing for Spiderman, and as a result I like spiders, too...my first dorm room had Spiderman stickers all over, and I'm still using my Spiderman duvet and pillow! Anyway, the ring fit perfectly and I love it. The jeweler didn't even charge me GST.

I purchased my veil on Saturday. Today I received my "Mr. and Mrs." engraved forks from etsy. I ordered my "CARDS" and "I Do" pennets on etsy this weekend.

Last week my BM dresses were ordered. Yay! One less thing to worry about.

Yesterday I went to Michael's with my mom and scored a great deal! I got these numbers for my table numbers on clearance for five cents each! They were originally a dollar each. The only problem is I don't have all the numbers I need and I went to another Michael's today and they were sold out.

I also went to Michael's today and used a 40% off coupon to buy some candle holders. Also, yesterday I bought a candle holder to practice on--I'm going to adhere lace to it. Getting excited about my DIY projects!
