pocket invitations.

I'm trying to decide if we want to do anything to the outside of them. We were thinking of tying them closed with a ribbon. Any ideas?

They really need something on the outside, if its a ribbon or a tab on the front it pulls it all together.

What about a sticker with your monogram on it?

I used rubber stamps on mine because it was plain looking. One is a celtic knot and the other is 1 John 4:19. I just plan to put them in the envelope with anything to hold it closed.

We are not doing a pocket envelope like that. But we are going to do something to tie all the pieces together. I have seen baker's twine that looks really cool. It just depends what look you are going for. check out this site:

These are what mine look like. I made a bellyband with paper and then printed our monogram and attached that to the band.

We did pocket invitations. We decided to use stickers with a B on them to seal them.

Ours have sheer white ribbon and a wax seal that attaches with a removable glue dot. I'm glad the pockets are cut, folded, glued and ready to go - thank goodness my dad wanted a project to help me with!
