My boss is always bothering me about taking all of my vacation days, so I took a couple and spent them volunteering at Church Street Bridal, a charity bridal salon that gets sample gowns from designers and salons around the country. They support a domestic violence shelter and YWCA programs with the proceedes.
The salon that gives them the most samples: Kleinfeld.
The first time I went in there a few weeks ago, I was stunned...they had Pnina Tornai, Carolina Herrara, Rivni, Monique Lhuillier, Reem Acra, Amsale, Priscilla of Boston, etc. The prices were mostly $300-$500. No joke...I took pictures of the price tags for proof!
