This past weekend was my bridal shower. It was so fun! My mom and one of her friends threw me a beautful shower, the decorations were awesome and more than I expected! When I was about 3 years old my parents got me a " my size" bride barbie that I use to wear her clothes. Well, she found that barbie in our attic and cleaned up for me and that's where everyone set their presents around. It was just a real special touch, it took her hours to clean it up.
however, whats a bridal shower without some drama, right! lol Well, I had to run about an hour and a half down the road that morning before the shower to a dress fitting because they didn't have my dress in when I went the week before. (very annoying) I had not eaten that morning and had drank alot of coffee. I got home and ate. When everyone started to show up, my face, hands, and feet went numb. I got dizzy and my eyes started to blur. My heart was pounding out of my chest! I had a panic attack! (omg) I was soooo embarassed!!!!!! my FMIL and about 6 other people all came in the kitchen and just stared at me like " is she gonna pass out now!! " I've never felt like that before. I was highly nervous though, as I probably will be on the wedding day. I just really hope i don't have another panic attack on the wedding day, because I didn't feel right for the rest of the day.
I for sure will eat on the wedding day!
On the bright side, I got a lot of really nice things and sexy things! I got a lot of coffee decor for the kitchen. One of the most meaningful presents I got was from my aunt (mom's sister). They had a HUGE canvas portrait made for us from one of our engagement pictures. We plan on displaying it at the reception. I also got the toasting flutes and cake cutting set from FMIL and one of her close friends. All in all its was a great party, and the night ended with a girls night out since FI was having his bachelor party that night.
