I know we've got a lot of teachers on this board and I just gotta say..elementary teachers, I have no idea how you do it.
I'm a believer that most teacher are either "elementary" or "high school" (not that you can't do both, but most just prefer one over the other). It just takes a certain type of person for each. I actually like middle school the best because they are WEIRD and I dunno I just like them. I like HS a lot too.
But holy hell I subbed in 3 elementary schools this week and I wanna jump off a bridge lol. I've done upper elementary and that's pretty good but this was my first time with "babies" (like K-2 kids). Gosh they whine about EVERYTHING. Who cares if that person stood in front of you in line? WE'RE ALL GOING TO THE SAME PLACE. IT'S NOT A RACE. Their lives revolve around everything being "fair" even if it's not relevant. I do not have the patience for it lol. And they don't stop moving. EVER. Or talking.
I don't care if they give you a millon hugs a day, I'll take my moody/bitchy middle and high school kids. I have so much respect for the elementary teachers now.
Ps. Are you always sick? Man I feel like crap. I think the little ones carry way more germs.
