Who has been busy this past week?

I worked well over 85 hours last week so I didn't get much done as far as anything WR.

Well this past week was quite a busy one with Derby going on here and all but no checks this week

Actually won't have any checks until the end of the month.  We will be sending in the deposit for the Villa we are booking and for the wedding planner. Actually those are the only WR checks that I'm going to have until we book the plane tickets

Nothing done yet but FI and I are meeting our first potential photographer tomorrow. I haven't done much planning since booking our venue in January so I'm really excited to get going on something else.

I got my florist booked last week and made my sample invitation yesterday.  I love it!!!  I still need to design the response card and other inserts, but the main part is done.

I met with two wedding planners and am trying to make that decision.  So hard.

I already had so much done but i got my tiara on saturday, i love it, i can't stop looking at the pic. i put it way up high so it won't wreck lol

The only check I got done last week was I ordered return address labels from vistaprint.  I got 280 and only paid shipping!  They have starfish on them which I love and had to get when I saw since that is basically my theme lol!

Met with another florist. Wasnt too impressed. Which sucks cause I was really looking forward to her. So back to the drawing board and i have since emailed two more florists to set up appointments. Ugh why do flowers have to be so complicated! Everyone expects me to know exactly what I want NOW?! dude its over a year out i have no freaking clue!

I worked on my cake topper all this weekend.  It's looking awesome, I'm really excited for how it's turning out so far, but I've got forever left to go on it!

In addition to working 70 hours at my job last week, I also was able to send in the deposit for my venue, booked my photographer and caterer, worked on my guest book pages and started my card box.

FI and I sat down and brainstormed about what we really want for our menu.  We finally decided to veto the whole sandwich/heavy apps idea and decided on several options for our meal.  There's even a possibility we can do the meal all ourselves.

 We also nailed down our desserts, decided on 3 out of 4 signature drinks and started plotting our candy bar.  We looked at centerpieces and I have 2 top choices.  We met with the wine people (decided to go through a reputable dealer instead of our friends) and chose the wines we'll be getting for favors.  I actually hada pretty productive weekend in terms of planning.
