Candy Bar

To those of you doing a candy bar/buffet, where are you getting your candy?  I have already purchased some at Walmart but I didn't know if there were any good websites online to purchase candy in bulk.  I'm looking for pink, silver, and white candy by the way.

Re: Candy Bar

  • Pink candy should be easy to find, especially after Valentine's Day.  I haven't started researching, but I need lots of green, so I'm going to look around at sales after St. Patrick's.  Let me know if you come across any good sites or stores in your search.

I have been purchasing Valentine's candy too, but have also ran into the issue with there being a lot of red mixed in with pink and white, but I've found some that just have pink and silver, and the ones that have red in there, I am just going to pick them out.  I actually just found candywarehouse.com.  Thanks ladies!
  • I'm doing v day m&ms crunch hearts and Reese's hearts probably. Then green gummy army guys, salt water taffy maybe, and idk for the last one lol
  • I purchases rock candy swizzle sticks from ebay. THe rest of my candy I'll get from Walmart when easter rolls around. Should be much more purple stuff around at that point!

Canada has a lot less to choose from, but I hear that for US buyers, candywarehouse.com is pretty popular!

  • check out www.yummies.com - they are a HUGE candy store in Maine and will ship in US and they have tons of hard to find candy.

www.chutters.com is also a good place - they have the world's longest candy counter so they might have some fun hard to find stuff as well

<div>Yes I agree Yummies is the best! I love that place!</div>
  • I am going with a company, it probably won't be any more expensive than if i bought the candy wholesale, because shipping to canada is ridiculous & if i am going to pay coutner prices i might as well have someone that has everything. I get the whole set up for one price, bags, jars, scoops, labels for the jars, plus the candy & it only starts at a couple hundred bucks depending on the candy, the jars alone would have been almost 100 so that's not bad.

  • We just ordered some of our candy from ohnuts.com and candywarehouse.com. Like PP have said, w/ Valentine's Day coming up, you should be able to snag some of that candy in your colors as well.

  • I am also waiting for Valentine's Day and Easter to roll around.  You can check your wholesale stores like BJs, Sams and Costco.  A  girl on my local board also mentioned metrocandy.com.  Another one my cousin found was candydirect.com.
