Hanging Reserved Signs on bench? Need opinions

I made these wooden 'Reserved' Signs for the benches at the front for the ceremony but haven't actually thought before hand how to hang them. We have a strict decorator's policy and can't use things like tacks. Should I just put it at the end and hope they won't fall?!
Hopefully the image is larger enough to see the bench, but there's no 'lip' at the end of it.

To me it looks like you could just hang our tie them to the end of the benches.

I would just tie them on.  If not, can you use some command strips or something to secure them without causing any damage?
