Naked

I took my ring to the jeweler yesterday to get the rodium and polish done before the wedding on SATURDAY. I feel so naked without my ring.

I understand where you're coming from! I dropped my ring off last week to get my wedding band made (needs to be custom to fit flush with my e-ring) so I'm missing mine too. I don't feel *as* naked now that a few days have gone by, but I'm anxiously awaiting it's return.

I miss mine too. We did buy a ring when we went to Costa Rica so I didn't have to worry about my actual engagement ring so I at least have a fake ring on.

I got a fake ring when I had to get my ring fixed so I had something on my finger.  I too felt naked without a ring there.

I will be wearing a fake ring, when I get mine soldered together, because I tooo, will feel naked with out it.

I started taking mine off when i go to bed (I usually NEVER take it off) b/c I was getting some funny bumps from where it irritates my finger when I sleep.  I woke up from a deep sleep the other night and bolted upright thinking I'd lost it.  It took me a few minutes to remember I'd taken it off and it was safely in the ring holder!

Darn jeweler told us that you should never sleep in your ring as over time rubbing it against the sheets can loosen the stones. She said about 80% of lost stones are ususally found in the bedsheets. So FI is crazed about reminding me to take my rings off each night.

I bought a fake one yesterday and feel a little better but its still not mine. I can't wait until i can have mine back and then i can wear both bands together on Saturday!
