My parents are hosting an engagement party for us this Sunday in their backyard. My mom is having white tents put up and having food catered but they wanted to do it in theire backyard since they love hosting parties (also their inground pool is August is key)!
There's about 50 people coming, mostly our friends but also some of our extended family. We are really excited to get everyone together to celebrate with us!!! I'm also really excited because I have started to do some DIY stuff and I am going to have a few things there (ie. I am hanging a few pomander's in the tree's, I made stickers that say "LOVE" with our initials behind it to put on cupcake toothpicks, painted wooden initials to go on a food table). I am starting to bring our color scheme into play here as well so everything will be yellow and gray (well some black because my mom was out of the loop and got black tablecloths instead LOL).
I will post some pictures after the party! I am so appreciative of my parents doing this for us! They are both so excited as well! I
