My parents have stuff too but with them living 3 hours away, most of the wedding stuff will end up at my place eventually

That would drive me nuts! Luckily we have a 4 bedroom house which only one of them we use so one has turned into "the wedding room"

I keep getting everything shipped to my parents house that I order online since I live in NH but the wedding is in CT and the UPS guy asked what all the boxes were for me coming to the house because one day he had 10 for the candle votive holders and then like 12 another day for vases lol
