I've so far have no 80's music, no cheesy songs (cotton eye joe, macarena, etc), black eyed peas. I think i'll add no country music and Justin Bieber too.

I have a long list of must-plays and song ideas for the DJ, so he'll get a sense of what we're looking for.

No offense, but you people are crazy. I swear I've seen 10 of my MUST plays already listed in this thread. We are all about the thong song, old time rock and roll, cupid shuffle, RAP?? who doesn't want to dance to hip hop?? SMH

Edit: We put FloRida on our "please play a lot of"  list...all his songs make me want to boogie.

Agree, I'm seeing a lot of my "play" songs on here. For do not play, anything with profanity in it. Clean versions are fine as long as they aren't too suggestive. No Justin Beiber or any of those teeny bopper artists. No Adele just because most of her songs are depressing. But I don't care if they play anything else, as long as its not all depressing.
