FI and I are having a "destination" wedding -- by that I mean it's about 3 hours away...so not something we can just "take a trip up to" all the time!
We went there the start of last month to meet/knock out booking our DJ, flowers, and cake. Flowers and cake went great! In fact, all our meetings did -- but we had no problem getting home and booking them!
the DJ however -- we decided on one -- he went MIA...NEVER returned our emails...so we contacted DJ 2 -- while I know our wedding is 9 months away -- I WANT to give them money and now DJ 2 is being sketch -- AND keeps forgetting wedding details...told me to send a deposit -- but never told me where/how much/who to make it out to...etc etc. When we met he was willing to work on the price so that we would go with him instead of DJ 1 (they use to work together) -- and now he hasn't said much about that...
I guess I know what I should do -- but finding ANOTHER DJ is just hard since it's a good drive away and we don't have time to make another trip until November. AND -- I suppose I just needed to vent...
