Photographer: Special Suggestions for Wedding Day...

After feeling like I was dating two guys I finally broke it off with one of our photographers. I may have to buy a pint and some chic flics tonight to get over it:/

Anywho did you ladies have any special suggestions to your photographer. This could include:
*Must have shots
*Pictures NOT to take
*A side or profile that you tend to favor for photo's 
*Photo locations in your area that you especially love
*Special notes about your wardrobe (ie your dress photographs better in natural light etc)

I know they are professionals and as such know what they are doing but I'm just asking for those who did submit special suggestions what did you suggest to them. TIA!!

I sent my photographer an email with all of my inspiration pictures attached and she had me fil out some paperwork so she knew what formal shots I wanted and what shots I was fine with skipping.

Thanks Chelsea! I have a lot of inspirational pics. So I mentioned my Pinterest board and she plans to check it out. Did you have a lot as well. Just curious on whether I should send them to her via email.

My list of photo's I want seems long though it was shortenend. Was your list pretty long as well?

I sent her like 50 pics..... I felt bad because it probably bogged down her email!!! But I literally want to do every one of the pics I sent!

The paperwork I filled out for her was very extensive.... very long.

I am meeting with our photographer on Saturday and I have a list of absolute must have photos.  She even had me break them up into before and after ceremony photo lists since we arent doing a first look!

My photographer and I sends out a list of questions to every couple about 2-3 weeks before. We ask who the family members are, and the important people in or at the wedding, we ask what percentage of the pics they want of them and of their guests (50/50 or 60/40), if there are any people who can't be in pictures together, are there any special or unusual parts of the ceremony or reception to keep an eye out for, do they want more color or black and white, a list of group portraits that they want, if they are doing a first look shot, we ask for a rough day of time line, alternate phone numbers that if need be we can get in touch with the bride or groom (usually a cell # of a bm or gm). Umm that's all I can think of.
