Board website?

I was thinking of making a website for us and I wanted everyone's input.  On the site I was thinking of having the bride list by date, info about us (you and your FI names, date, state of wedding, planning site if you have one, and possible pictures), our favorite wedding websites/helpful sites by category, fitness/weight loss tips we have been doing with the fitness check ins, and maybe a birthday list.  What do you think?  Also, if you like the idea, do you have anything else you would like to see on the site?

ETA: this could cut down on the number of stickies and we can just direct people to it.

Sounds great!!!  I'm excited about it.    Especially since we have more than a year to our weddings, we'll all have a birthday or two between now and then!

I agree with Julb and Lauren. I don't think it's necessary, it sounds sort of like a planning bio which some brides make on their own.

I probably wouldn't want to be included... how many places do I really need info about FI and I and our wedding? I think the stickies at the top are fine.

I don't think I'd want all my information like that on a website.  I know it is already on here, but I don't think I need it another place.

Exactly, I too don't think it's necessary. We have the list of dates and the helpful sites list. I don't think creating a site would be that beneficial. If we really want to read each other's bios and stuff, we can on our own time.

I can see both points. It is unnecessary with all the stickies, but if we get rid of the stickies and just have the website i think it would be fine.

My whole point is that it seems like it will be a giant planning bio. Some of the poster have them linked in their sig already and those who will make one in the future will most likely link it as well. I think it's unnecessary to have information linked in everyone's sig and as a sticky.

It may be a little much, but before I officially became a 2012 bride I used to do some lurking on the June 2011 board and thought their website was cute. Here's the link if you want to check it out and get a better idea of what MMRoberts is talking about

On one hand I think it might not be necessary, but on the other hand, I like the idea that it takes the place of the stickies and also the one from June 2011 posted is really cute!  I like the idea that it has all the ladies by date with their colors and also I think the recipe section is pretty cute.  It also says their weekly topics (like how we do TMI Tuesdays).  So I guess there are some reasons for it, if one is made I'd be all for it but I won't be sad if we don't have one.

At first I didn't think it was a good idea but then I looked at the June 2011 one and it's cute.

I like that all of the planning bios would be in one, easy-to-find place...I'm too lazy to click through everyone's profile to see if they have one or not.
