I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be any talk about Bridal Fashion Week, which has been going on since the weekend. Has anyone been watching the shows?
Lots of folks in the bridal industry have been tweeting and blogging with pictures from the shows. The best of the lot, in my opinion, has been Weddings Unveiled magazine, which is based in North Carolina. One of that magazine's co-founders was a fashion photographer and it kind of shows...their photos are awesome!
They have pages and pages of photos from the runways on their blog:

Is anyone following Fashion Week and Bridal Market?
BTW, the trends I seem to be seeing:
-More short dresses! Perhaps this is because more people are doing a second dress for the reception?
-Sleeves! Almost every collection seems to have some dresses with sleeves
-Mantilla veils - there are loads of them. I wonder if they will be back in a big way?
-More color - Oscar de la Renta has an amazing dress that has about a foot of fading blue color at the bottom, he has another blue dress, and Vera Wang conitnues to have colored dresses
-Large, textured skirts (a la Monique Lhuillier's Sunday Rose dress). Everyone seems to have a dress with a big skirt full of flowers or strips of fabric.
-Lace or fabric embellishment over beading. There is almost NO beading on the dresses this year. There's lots of fabric embellishment and some jewels, but very little all over beading.
