NWR: Post Your FB Pet Peeves

I hate to see people taking  pics and the background is trashed..dirty socks all over the floor, messy bed, food containers on the table. Next time move a few feet over and take another pic. Oh and I also hate the infamous bathroom pics in the mirror. I understand with teenagers but not 30 and 40 year old women. Are you serious?? lol

I hate when people type in that weird code language. There are so many people and I am like, Dude I know you graduated from high school and most of them are in college...I know you can type in English not whatever you are saying. Even when they send messages its in that weird stuff. I basically have to translate messages my cousin sends me.

Example:
$up cuzin dem p33ps b all crzd lyke dey stopid or $umtin.
Translation: Whats up cousin those people are all crazy like they are stupid or something.

It annoys the heck out of me. My FI not being American and his first languages being French and dutch always says to me, "Are they speaking Chinese?"

I hate for my FI's lady friends to send me friend request trying to be nosey! If you want to see what I look like just look through his albums!

Lol...I'm not on FB, but my mom is & she always tells me crazy stuff. So I just had to come on here & see ya'll responses. Hilarious!!

People who complain about EVERYTHING!

"Hate the weather", "Changing my name from mommy", "Why won't this man leave me alone?", "I am tired", "What a horrible day at work"...and so on and so fourth. I mean come on! No one wants to read that!

Oh and also people who choose to let us all know their political stance. Seriously? I don't need to read or hear about why you don't like the president or why you can do a better job.

I agree! I just joined FB a couple of months ago and the first time I saw this my reaction was "what's wrong" and they never responded but they continue to put up those "vage" status updates...Now I don't respond I just think to myself oooookkkkaaay that's kind of stupid...lol...

How did you do that!!! I'm still new and even though after being on it for 6 weeks I took about  a 3 week break I still went back...FAIL..lol... How did you do it?

Same here, luckily I have never been tagged like that, but I have a few friends who do. One of my friends just posted the other day that she is sick of being tagged in ugly shoes and she is getting rid of people who tag her in the shoes.

YES!! OMG Make sure you are secure in your relationship first before telling the world. I know this one girl and her status changes every other day. She is a mutual friend with my FI and I, we always joke about if she is broken up with her boyfriend or not that day.

I had become obsessed with facebook because I am a very inquisitive person. If I could have another career I would probably be a private investigator. LOL! As you can imagine, keeping up with over a thousand friends was time consuming but I left not just because I was wasting a lot of time online but because I felt it was time to move on. I joined facebook at the beginning of college and by the time my  last semester of grad school started I decided it was time to put away childish things. I'm not saying FB is childish in general but for what I was using it for it was childish and a bit fake. I also didn't like that people I considered to be close friends became distant becuse they could just "check in" with me on FB and not real life. So I made the decsion and got started deleting things so I could protect my information from being kept and so I could never just reactivate my account.
It took me three months to delete everything friends, posts, pics, messages etc.

LASTLY,

THOSE FARMVILLE UPDATES WERE THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL'S BACK. I don't need to know about your cyber sheep.
