People, People, People!!!

Why do people feel they can call me 11 days before my wedding and tell me that they are bringing a guest,  Really?!?!  Not only did you not RSVP by the deadline, but now you feel you can TELL me who you are bringing to our wedding.  Bridezilla emerged and it wasn't pretty!  My MOH calls me and tells me that someone i never had any intention on inviting was hurt because she wasn't invited so she was going to bring her as her guest.  WTH!!!!  I didn't invite  her for a reason, so how are you going to tell me because her feelings are hurt to invite her.  No, it's not happening.  I was trying to keep the beast asleep and had been doing a pretty good job, but it's awake now!

The nerve of people.....they just don't understand no matter what; therefore, the beast has a right to wake up especially 11 days out....try not let them stress you out!

I so feel you on this..  My best friend told me that she could make my wedding, and I told her she could bring her BF.  This was before I could send out the invite, but I was going to have a space for her and a guest regardless.  Then when talking she said she might bring her mom which was cool because it seemed as if that would be her guest.  Then she says she wanted to bring her mom and her BF and BF would bring his 3 kids!  Surprised  I kept my cool bc wedding stuff has caused tension with us before, but I explained to her that FI and I need to make sure that OUR guests are taken care of first (accommodations wise bc it's a DW).  I was taken aback though by her feeling that she could just invite all of her people.

Just politely stand your ground, explain how the invitation and RSVP system works.  If all else fails, bouncers at the door!  lol...jk
