Ceremony Music

We don't know if we want traditional , something more "us" or maybe a mix of the two. What tyoes of music are some of you guys using?

Re: Ceremony Music

  • We'll be playing a lot of old r&b from 80's and 90's, club/pop type stuff, just to get people up and dancing around.

  • Sorry, to clarify I meant the actual ceremony not the reception.

  • Our ceremony music was competely nontraditional. FOr the bridal party entrance, we used a dubstep song (courtesy of H), I walked down to Kissing You from Titanic, and our recessional song was I Do by Colbie Calliat. You can really do whatever you want!

  • The music at our ceremony was not "traditional", but it wasn't non traditional either.. we had Kenny G instrumentals. My mom, aunt, and girls walked down to "love song", and I walked down to "wedding song". The only sung piece was the soloist, and he sang "still in love" by brian mcknight.. and then my pianist got to choose the song for the recessional..

  • We both love so many songs its difficult to decide what we want to do. We may end up having some traditional music at the beginning and an actual song for the recessional
  • I am going the non tradional route. I don't have a bridal party, but I will be walking down to Happily Ever After by Case and still debating on the Recessional, but something up beat.
