Help!

I was just asked by my only co worker friend to help her out. Her sister is getting married this saturday 9/18 and she wants me to be her DOC. I plan corporate events all day long but I dont know where to start as far as wedding event coordination goes. I just got a list of all her vendors so that I can call them and see what time they will be there and get their Day Of contact numbers but other than that what do I need to do? Is there a timeline that I should be following etc. Any help is appreciated.

P.S. I did ask her things like what time is her hair/make up appt and what time she wants the bridal party to be there but I am feeling kind of lost espcially since I only have 5 days (Really four since I have to be there for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on Friday) HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the main thing to do is to come up with a very detailed timeline...very detailed. Is she having the ceremony and reception all at one place? I have my timeline drafted and wouldn't mind sending it so that you could at least have an idea.

I also think you should get a feel for the flow of the ceremony as she imagines it...what order does she envision her attendants going down the aisle in? Any ceremony or reception surprises? Find this out now so that you are prepared to run the rehearsal with minimal confusion.

Thanks eagles could you please email it to me at shesheduke at comcast dot net? I have been talking to her and I have a pretty good idea of what she wants  I just want an easy and detailed way of conveying it to her and her WP. I will be at the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner as well and I want to give each the timeline so we are all on the same page since while they are getting ready I will be setting up the reception. I am very detailed and I have a good idea I just want to make sure from others that are going through it or will be going through it that I am on the right track!
