omg im so over people not rsvp and the date to rsvp is less than a week away. I am really stressing over this. anybody else having this problem, and if so what are you doing to get people to respond. needed to vent.

I havent gotten to that part yet but no rsvp no seat and whoever dont like it can keep it moving they hav eplenty of time to rsvp and a stamp is included can people really be this lazy smdh!

I know im guilty and it would bite me in the butt when its my turn...so were budgeting for 100...catering for 150 people..so if they come fine..if not it its going hm with us...tryin to skip that headache...maybe you can hv ur MOH, mom, or fmil...call these stranglers..

I called and emailed people that did not respond by the deadline. What upset me is that I initially invited about 150, and planned for 125. We had last minute rsvp's so I had to increase everything and pay for 132 guests. The day of my wedding 108 people showed up!!!

This is crazy to me. But it happens all the time! Have the no shows called to explain why they didn't come. I would be extremely disappointed.

OP - A few days after your RSVP date has passed. Call or text each person to find out if they are coming. If you can not get a hold of someone then leave a message along the lines of, "Hello Jane, hope all is well, just wanted to let you know we did not receive your response for the wedding. You will be missed."

And keep it movin.

PP I haven't gotten to this point yet but people know that I sick by my word when I say that once the date has passed and folks haven't responded then please know you DON'T have a seat!!

I don't understand why people do not believe in giving back their responses. I am almost to this point, however, I haven't really tackled how I am going to handle this situation. I suggest maybe making a 1 phone call to each person, or sending a text and if they don't answer than keep it moving.

Yall are making me scared, for real. I only plan to invite 75. But 80% would that would be 60. 15 people! I mean, we are making it small for a reason. I would love to hear how Made4Him handled her situation!
