Pomander question, how many pieces of the cut paper did you use for each flower? The vintageglamblog says something about 4. Did you use 4 or more or less? Thank you. :0)

You rang?? :)Yep, I used 4. I followed the Vintage Glam instructions exactly and was super happy with the way they turned out. Feel free to e-mail me or page me if you have any more questions, or if you want pictures. But if you follow her instructions, I think you'll be pleased!

i followed her directions but i thought the 'petals' ended up being too long and didn't look right.. how much did you cut off when you rounded them? I'd love to see pics. sarackfox at yahoo dot com

Make sure that you start on the short end for the accordian, and make sure your tissue is 5 inches by 10 inches. I take 4 - 5x10 sheets and start folding on the 5 inch side and. Once you have your accordian, round the end with scissors and then add wire. It should look like this - and when it is fluffed up, it should look like this -

haha, what an idiot I am. The pics show folding the long side. I didn't even think to fold the other side. I ended up cutting the in half and doing 5X5 pieces. My flowers are turing out lovely so far. I made 63 flowers and my fingers are SORE from twisting wire... haha Thank you Seblagg! Can't wait to see your day!

Yay! I'm so glad that you got it all figured out. I'm working on the same thing right now. I think I remember now that the flowers are different in the pictures. I'm sure your poms will turn out lovely!
