I am sitting here going through my rolodex of "all things negro" and I swear there's nuthin' in there for 'pig pickin'. You will have to explain this to me --- s-l-o-w-l-y.

    LMAO!!! Why are you going through your rolodex of all things negro...that is hillarious!  Well, I don't think that pig pickin' is a negro thing, per se.  I think it's a North Carolina thing (or maybe even a Southern thing), because some of my white co-workers have actually talked about having one at their wedding.  They take a whole pig and roast it or smoke it on a grill and they just pick at it and eat on it all day basically.  I actually had never heard of it before I moved here either.

    Thanks blue for helping clarify that for me. For some reason I was thinking of some sort of greased pig chase. Yes, I've seen a few My Redneck Wedding episodes.

    LMAO at OFF..a greased pig chase???  That is too funny!  My FI actually had a family gathering recently and I experienced a pig pickin' for the first time at this event.  I don't eat pork so I was horrified.
