IT SUPPOSE TO RAIN!

I have been jocking the weather channel it says that it has a 60% chance of rain the day of my wedding. I have been crying!!! I have a plan B but I have been planning for an outside wedding for over a year now and I feel like I am loosing a part of my lifetime dream. FI and my mom have been comforting me trying to say that things can change in 10 days but SH****T!

Stop looking at the weather channel! Its going to make you insane. I did the same thiing the time lending up to our eParty(a luau at a park) and the morning of I was pulled over on the side of the road crying...and by the time I went home and started getting things together it was a beautiful all the clouds were gone and everything. We had our party and were leaving and not until it was all over did it start raining and even then it was only like a few drops and that's it! Your day will be fine just pray and let it go b/c  like everyone was telling me you can not control the weather. HTH

I will pass on the best wedding advice I ever received.  Regardless of what happens that day (rain or not) at the end of the day, you and your fiance will still be married, that is the most important thing.  Besides, I've heard that rain on the day is good luck too.

Thank you ladies so much. I am trying to pull it together and keep the positive on mind. I realllllly want to be outside, but you all are right at the end of the day I will still have a HUSBAND that I love truly and loves me. Thank you. You have made me feel better. I am going to TRY to stop looking at the weather. My FI stated that the weather channel has stated that it would rain the last few days here and it hasn't so I will remain POSITIVE!. Thanks again, I needed that.

I think the other ladies said it best. I'd also like to add that you can get some awesome pics if it does rain. Get some cute umbrellas, some cute rain boots and some great pics of you and your DH kissing under the cloudy sky with an umbrella.

don't get discouraged. the week of my wedding there was rain from the wednesday up until saturday morning! it rained so much our bayous were flooding girl. my wedding rehearsal rained out so not all the members of my bp were there. we had to eat our bbq under the carport. i was a mess b/c i REALLY wanted to take pics outside. well saturday morning the rain stopped, the sun came out and it was a beautiful 70 degree day. 70 degrees does not happen in south La in March! 2 fellow knotties of ours, soon2bmrsdavis and bambigraham both had rainy day weddings. Guess what? for each of them the rain cleared up and they had a beautiful day. Now raise your fist with me and say it "KEEP HOPE ALIVE!"
