Hello Ladies,I was wondering if anyone ever purchased their veil from this website: www.valueveil.com. The veils are fairly cheap. I'm not for sure if that's a good thing???
I couldn't see anything in the link but I personally think all veils basically look the same. Some with a little extra, some with nothing extra. That was probably the least of my concerns and after my dress cost me an arm, leg and a half boob I decided that I wasn't spending $200 on a veil. I had one of my crafty friends make one for me and it was all of $5 and 30 minutes. They have some cheaper ones on Etsy, ebay, or down here our some of our bigger beauty supply stores carry them. Good Luck!
Veils are overpriced... I'm not against trying to find a deal on a veil, but I would suggest only using site that folks have recommended like missevans just did. Also, if you have a fabric store or sewing studio in your area check there, too. I found one near me that actually makes custom veils for a fraction of the cost of the boutiques...
all veils look alike to me as well.. I know at least 10 of the brides on my home board buy their veils from this website. The worst thing to me is speniding $200 on a veil that cost $20 to make...I do rec this website... GL!
I 2nd Occansey I've heard really good things about them. Some of the ladies on the DC board have used the site and been really happy with the product. http://www.occanseydesigns.com/
Please do not spend an arm and a leg for a veil. Like others have said, they all basically look the same. I paid $10 for my veil from Hobby Lobby. Or maybe it was $15...point being IT WAS CHEAP, but had the same lil ribbon trim like the $100-$200 ones. And it was double layer. Don't believe the hype girl! Hell, they're all lil pieces of tulle or that organza stuff.
I am wearing a $12 veil from ebay and no one can tell that I paid $12 for it! It looks exactly like the $100 veil in davids bridal. Even the lady from Davids Bridal thought I bought it from them. No one will be starring at your veil that hard to determine whether it is cheap or not. And who cares if you are happy with it!
Shooott, low key; i been eyeing this veil at Michael's. Its $12.99. After I get it pressed, steamed and add my little headband to it, it will cost me about $25.00.. so do what you do baby.. CAT! shut up..that veil looks great!
okaaay!!! We trynna tell em don't sleep on the cheap stuff that don't look cheap. I peeped some veils at Michael's too, they just werent on sale when Hobby Lobby's was!
