Tapas Menu Has Inspired Me

Hey, y'all.Just back from our first tasting and the menu is a tapas menu which totally inspired me decor wise....the reception inspiration is here:http://cicelyandtony.wordpress.com/decor/It will take some planning to pull it off but I think it is beautiful, intimate, super chic and romantic. Perfect for our Thursday night wedding at a downtown rooftop venue with an interior ballroom. And...if it rains then we can pull it all off inside so no need to rent the tent we were going to need because we were going to do a sit down dinner inside and get married outside.  BTW only 80 guests are invited....so pretty small and intimate anyway.WDYT

    I am so loving you whole wedding inspiration, theme, location and even the thursday night. You and the FI make a nice couple too. You have inspired me for my wedding planning!

    Very nice!  And I have seen Kress Terrace so I think that the decor would look fabulous in there!  I am amazed that you will be able to pull off only inviting 80 people!  That's my kind of wedding intimate, romantic, and actually inexpensive, because the less people you invite, the less you spend.

    I love it!...it flows and compliments your menu perfectly...I think you can pull it off too and since you have a WC, it will be alot easier for you.  ;)

    Yeah. We meet with a decor specialist (Lyn Graves of Fresh Affairs) next Sunday. I am scared of the price tag for the rental of all the furniture and lighting.  But hey....a girl can dream.....

    Mycicy-You know I already have my contract with Fresh Affairs.  His work is awesome.  I'm sure he will be able to work something out within your budget.

    **Blkswnn**: That makes me feel better.  We have built in the budget of $3000-$4000 for Lyn. so I hope he can set the mood with that.  Not renting the tent and going with 2 plans will save us some money.Plan A is get married under stringed lights at night if it doesn't rain and Plan B is do everything inside if it does rain that evening.

    Mycicy-that's exactly what our budget is.  My contract estimate is for $4000, but we have to the option to go as lower if we decide that's what we want to do.
