OMG!!!! 11 DAYS!!

I'm seriously freaking out!! we have only 11 more days to go before we tie the knot!! I'm so nervous about the outcome of our final day. I'm really frustated that we may not have spending money for our cruise/honeymoon!! Between the wedding, rent, bills, and the honeymoon I don't see how we will have a penny to spare on out honeymoon. My co-worker suggested that we have the money dance and that will help give us spending money. So I'm trying to convince Fi to have the money dance, but he isn't to thrilled about it.Plus I've had to tap into my savings account to pay for this wedding which really pisses me off because it was supposed to be like this.Aside from my parents helping with the wedding we have had to pay for everything ourselves. Fi's mom can't afford to help.Anyways thanks for letting me vent!

God bless you girl..you made it this far and you will make it even further!! everything will be oka...plus..think about it. You will receive money as gifts so you can use that as spending money too!!! take a deep breath and try to relax!!!!

Okay....breathe, you will be fine and everything will work out.  The most important part of it all is that in 11 days you and FI will become husband and wife and that alone is a beautiful thing.

Congrats for getting this far in your planning! you have had to dip into your savings but it is for something that will last a lifetime. God doesn't give us more than we can handle. The money dance sounds great and maybe you will get some envelops along with it. Just have fun and try to relax, you're almost there!

  It's getting closer and closer. I'm getting married the week after you. I have 18 days left. I'm beyond nervous about the outcome of our final day especially since my bridal shower didn't go very well at all. I said, I hope and pray that is not a sign of things to come. We are also worried about money too especially since I'm losing my job in 15 more days. We did all the scaling back we could possibly do though. We just have to believe that our special day will be just fine. Easier said then done, I totally know and understand as many others here can relate too.

it will be just fine for you and FI, you'll see...and I'm sure you're probably receive some money as gifts so you will probably be able to have some spending $$$ for your cruise...but that's not what is most important, the most important part of this process is that you & FI will become MAN & WIFE in 11 days!!!...and from what you've posted, it doesn't appear that you have any major last minute details to attend to for the wedding except the rehearsal and the wedding itself...so take a nice HOT bubble bath and listen to some jazz (or whatever music you like) and let that stress melt off of you...you will have a wonderful day and a fabulous honeymoon regardless.

Thank you so much ladies for being so supportive!! I will try and stay calm and enjoy this week and next week. You're all right about using money from the savings not being to much of an issue. I guess I have money issues and want to continue to save as much as we can so we can buy our first house. Proverbs,I will keep you and your fi in my prayers, as you look for another job and that your wedding day turns out a lot better then your bridal shower.Thanks again for listening and for your adivce.And I wish these butterflies would go away, it's so hard latelt to eat without feeling sick from being so nervous.

Christynah, Everything will work out fine.  Don't worry!  Just focus on the moment and the glorious upcoming day!!  And just remember, some people have *no one* helping them with one red cent, so be thankful that you are blessed that your parents paid for what they paid for.  It will all work out.  Money is meant to be spent, and you can always re-build your savings.  Enjoy your wedding day and honeymoon!!!

We paid for everything ourselves too, and we thought we wouldnt have money to spend as well.  BUT on the wedding day we got almost 1500 so that was our spending and take home money, LOL.  Prayerfully it will be ok for you.  The best part about paying for it yourself is that you dont have to hear anyones mouth in the end or during the planning.  Blessings!
