Birdcage Veil!

I was wondering who all was wearing or wore a birdcage veil? Did you make it yourself? I am asking because I am attempting to make my own. I have made the fascinator for the veil and I have brought my "veil material" from Hobby Lobby. I'm wearing one and planning on getting it from www.etsy.com if I don't make it on my own. I like your fasinator and the feathers add that extra touch. I'm thinking about it, but dresses I've looked at so far don't go with a cage veil. Your work is very good.To all you DIY ladies, my hat goes off to you, you all are so talented. I'm a bit envious, the only DIY things I can do are testosterone related.

I made my own and it came out great! I wound up spending only about $20 on the materials. I wore a cathedral veil for the ceremony and switched to birdcage for the cocktail hour. i wore a birdcage veil!  i wanted to make mine but i couldn't understand many of the online directions so i just gave in and bought it from ebay for $20.  i loved it though! good luck!
