    Ive been thinking about the same thing....I just did my BC in June 2009.....so by the time I get married I should have a good length of hair and I want a hairstyle that looks good and will last for the whole day (micros will be a last resort)...if find any nice styles please let me know...

    I am seriously considering a twist-out fro. I think that if done right, it could be so pretty. I'll keep you posted on what I find.

    I have had natural hair for almost 2 years and I wore my hair in microbraids for my wedding.  But you can go to this site named www.fotki.com and type in natural hair and a lot of womens pages will come up and you can view styles there.  Many of my contacts on there got married with natural hair.  My page is www.public.fotki.com/beenlyed2. Also Im not sure if you are familiar with www.nappturality.com there is a wealth of info there as well for natural hair. Try www.motowngirl.com, another natural hair site.  I hope that helps a bit or at least gets you started.  :-)

    I wish you all the best of luck in finding the best hairstyles for you! I had been natural for probably about 5 years and went and lost my mind one day and got a relaxer. My FI (now hubby) was so sad to see my curly hair go. I got the relaxer in September 07 and my ends were stringy up until I got them cut off 3 weeks after our wedding. Because of the stringy ends I ended up wearing a curly weave for our wedding. It was a curl pattern very similar to mine. Good luck!

    I was going to recommend african american wedding hairstyles, but LCA beat me to it.  My hair is natural also, but I'm just going to straighten it and do loose spiral curls with a large barrel curling iron, I think.  Or I may do a roller/rod set.  That will be a tighter curl pattern.  I intend to pull a few strands back (like a half up half down style) and place a few flowers in my hair.  No veil.  I have an example of what I'm talking about in my planning bio under wedding look.

    I'm natural (with big fro)  as well and have been scouring the net for them. try the natural section on www.blackhairmedia.com for ideas as well. I want to wear an LF for the wedding but FI wants the Fro. We'll see what happens. lol
