POLL: Your Harvest

I spent a good portion of last night and a part of this morning listening to Faithful is our God and I Need You to Survive by Hezekiah Walker (youtube them. Talk about soul-lifting – wow!). I don’t say it as often as I should to God, but boy am I grateful for the fact that He has been faithful to me and so thankful for surrounding me with people who care for me and want me to survive. I’m rejoicing today that I’m able to “reap the harvest that He promised me and take back what the devil stole from me.” The devil keeps trying to steal my faith and my sense of self-worth, but I’m screaming to him that “I shall recover it ALL – in the name of Jesus.” So ladies, let’s SPEAK it and OWN it, in the name of Jesus. What harvest are you reaping that God promised you? What are taking back from the devil that he stole from you? What are you grateful to God for? Once you've responded, read it outloud to yourself (later today if you're not alone right now. Lol, we don't want your coworkers to think you're nuts). Nothing is really true until spoken ~ an old African proverb.

I am grateful for everything I have and have accomplished in my life, all the people he has placed in my world.  I am grateful for the lessons I have learned in my journey through this world.  Most importantly, I am grateful for all the things I see him doing for me in the future.  Thanks blue for starting Monday off right!

I am grateful to God for giving me the strength to make it in this world. So many adversities have been thrown my way and by his grace I made it passed them. I am grateful for him blessing me with this man who loves and respects me. I am o so grateful for my mother because 5 years ago I thought that she wouldn't be here right now. Let me stop, I'm about to start crying.

I am grateful for my relationship with God and my family. I am glad to have the Grandmother and children I have and the wonderful Fi that will soon become my DH. I am even glad to have had the downfalls I have overcome, they have made me a better person.

Satan tried to steal my joy and my peace. But what God has for me, its for me! I claim it...its mine! Speaking of Inspirational music, Hezekiah Walker has another song, God Favored me. It truly moves my spirit.

I'm thankful for the father he gave me who was the head of our family for 21 years. He provided for us and showed us how to love God. I'm thankful for the fath God has given me, because when I lost my dad, I would not have made it without it. I know the devil is trying his hardest to get to my mom, sister and me, but I'm thankful we know who has all the power! I'm thankful for my mom and how she has been strong for us since my dad died and I hope I can be that strong for my own children one day. I'm thankful for the man I love that he sent me in record time from when I prayed for him. I'm glad God decided to prove me wrong on that one. I'm thankful for any moment I have with this man and when I have his children, I'll be even more thankful and happier.God is indeed my rock and he has put others in my life to be my rock also. I love Him!

This may sound odd but I'm thankful and grateful for the mistakes I've made. Everything I did has brought me to this place in my life to accept myself, good and bad, and know how to love myself so I can show others how to love me. I'm 39 and fabulous and see me in God, not just God in me.Thanks for this post!
