If you have a DJ give him/her an idea of what you like and a list of DO NOT play songs and then leave it to the DJ. I tried to micromanage everything until I realized that was what I was paying him to do. Our music turned out great and he even played a few songs I wouldn't have signed off on but the guests loved it. For example: My non-rhythm havin father dancing to the Cha-Cha-Cha song was classic
