I've been a SERIOUS slacker since my August 8th wedding. Well so much has happened in my first month of wedding bliss. My grandmother passed the Saturday after my wedding and as of lately I'm having some health scares that I'm dealing with and on top of that interviewing for a new job..whew! I just wanted to say that I've missed you ladies and will try to post more or just follow my life in my blog (in siggy) which I update often. Small Recap: The day of the wedding was something else. I honestly hate when you hear brides say "My day was PERFECT, nothing went wrong" Whatever, nothing is perfect! When I say it rained all morning and afternoon during the day. Seriously like cats, dogs and Noah's ark lol! That rain put us a little behind but everything else was great. The rain literally stopped right when the ceremony started like God was shining down on us! Guess rain is good luck and if that's the case we should have tons of it! We had to rush to take pictures at the park because the limo driver got lost so me and the hubby don't have a lot of shots there but we've come with a plan to fix that later on (I'll tell you soon!). The reception was more than I imagined and my coordinator really went above and beyond my expectations. LADIES SERIOUSLY HIRE A DOC IF YOU CAN AFFORD ONE! We had a snafu in the calling for the dinner buffet but she easily fixed that. Our guests had such a great time that it was still tons of them there at 12:30 am when the reception was over. One guest even told the DJ" Can we get some outro music" lol (you know our people!) All in all I wouldn't change a SINGLE thing about the day because otherwise I wouldn't have the memories I have. I just got back the pro pics yesterday and it took me back to the wedding all over again.A few words of advice: Things will go wrong, some things will go better than planned but in the end it's all so so so worth it! I married a man that no amount of words could describe and that was the most important part of the day of them all!Without further a do:
