Alf,Cat, Mrsclinton,brobin.....HELP!!!

Hey ladies! I need your help! I can't decide on my wedding colors. I initally was going with coral,chocolate, and cream...However, I've changed my mind due to me changing my wedding date to the spring instead of fall. I informed my coordiator that I wanted to use pink and her response was I needed to think outside the box but....DAMNIT, I like Pink...lol...So I want to use pink,champagne,mermaid,and cream...or pink and silver...What do you all sugguest? Any advice would be appreciated!!

what's mermaid? right now i'm loving anything yellow. i'm also loving oranges and turquoise. not necessarily together, but as the dominant color. lavender is also hot. while darker purple can be for fall/winter, the lavender can be for spring/summer. you definitley want some light/flowy color with some splashes of deeper color for depth. does that make any sense?

and here's another one to consider...LIGHT GREEN, LIGHT PINK, LIGHT YELLOW & LATTE (or taupe)btw -- what the heck is mermaid?...is that a shade of blue?...is it turquiose??

I know I wasn't "ping'd" on this message but the seafoam green palette is uh-mazing! If you like pink, then add some touches of pink into the decor without it being the primary color in your scheme. although your coordinator is trying to be helpful, it you want a little bit of pink, there are many ways for you to add it in there. OR keep the colors you like (Coral, Cream) but instead of the chocolate, add in gold and yellow. It's springy and you still get the look of the pink with the coral.sorry if i've intruded HTH

Sorry - i didnt read any one else's comments....Take a look at Kay Kay's wedding. She was bright pink with decor being silver and white.What about ivory and champagne linens.Flowers - all different hues of pink (light pink, fushia, with a touch of cream) Think rosesDresses - Pink

Sorry I'm late. Not feeling well today. Y'all know y'all showing out right? I'm loving all of these options!!! I'm about to copy and send them to my coordinator.. That so much I love the seafoam green alf. the pink & green cat, and the pink & silver brobin...Now I just have to make a decision! Ooops I ment to say oasis...it's a shade of turquoise..

Hey luv, I am with cat on the colors, anything dark is really fall/winter. We go against the grain of things sometimes with not doing what is "traditional". I like the board Alf put together. Everybody and their mama is using pink. I love the color but that is one color I was adamant to stay away from. Pastels are really pretty. The orange family period hands down is hot as is the lighter shades of blue. Pewter is a nice color too. What the hell is mermaid though?
