Disposable Cameras...worth it?

My wedding is in 5 days and I have everything checked off on my list except for the cameras to sit at each table. If anyone has done this or known someone who has can you say if it was worth it? I'm debating to cut it off my list because I'm not sure all the film will be used and my thoughts are that most people have digital cameras that they bring.I don't know, I'm on the fence about this...advice please.

Yeah, I think you're right.  Most people will probably bring their own camera.  Maybe you can pocket that money or spend it on something else.  Congratulations on almost becoming a MRS.  I'm so excited for you!  So, tell, me.  How do you feel?  Excited, nervous.  Both?

Thanks for your opinion. I feel excited and anxious. I'm just ready for the day to get here. I'm ready to be married for real and not just living together. But I can say I'm not nervous at all. I did a lot myself so I know it's exactly how I want it and I have a final meeting with my venue today to make floor plan arrangements.

I def do not think they are needed at each table like the olden days..I am going to get a few for my old auntie's and uncles who know nothing about digital camera's..lol

I thought about doing this until my coordinator told me it's not worth it that most of the cameras go to waste since most of the guests bring their own cameras.  So it was recommended to the the photo uploading cards instead.

You can go to shutterfly and create a share site for the guests to upload pics from your wedding. If you have the time, print up cards at home with the url and password and place those on the table.

Good luck NELCORP with the rest of your planning.  Be sure to drop us a line with pics to let us know how it all turns out!

So ladies, Are you saying that people just let the cameras sit on the tables and don't take pics with them b/c they have their own digital camera?  I was thinking of getting those tents that sit next to the camera and actually explain to the guests that the pics are for me and FI later.  Does anyone know if having an explanatory tent helped or did not help with getting pics taken? I'm afraid my guests may not upload their digital pics if we take that route.
