Hey, good luck with the mtgs. Questions to ask include hours, how many photogs, timeframe for proofs, timeframe for finished product, do they specialize in both traditional and photojournalistic, print rights, how many prints. I'm sure more ladies will chime in.

How many hours? Is there a charge for mileage if you're going to more than one location?Do they have an assistant or second photographer? What type of camera are they using, do they have back up equipment? How many photos do you get?How long does it take to get your proofs? Is the person you're talking to the one who will be photographing the wedding?Make sure you get reproduction rights for your pictures so that you can print them whenever you want.

Make sure they show you a portfolio. Get package pricing as well as a la carte.  Print rights. Percentage of photojournalistic/portrait shots. References. How many events per week (weekend) they shoot during busy season? Turnaround. How much photoshopping they do.There is a important photos to shoot checklist on my blog.  Just click thru siggy

I agree with Mia. Also ask if you get the rights to the pics, some photogs don't like you to post their pics on sites like facebook. they like to do it.

After everything make sure they give you a variety of references to go back and ask.  Those people will be honest with you even when the photographer wasn't! And make sure to see an entire wedding and not just his/her best photos from several different weddings.  You wanna get the whole picture.  I'll look online for a comprehensive list of questions.  Mine are in a book that I got from the library but I'm sure there has to be one online somewhere.  GL!
