Full length vs cocktail bm dresses

Which are you doing??? I'm debating between the two

Ohh honey, do not talk BM dresses... I have been going back and forth with these things. I finally decided on full length, because some of my BM has tattoos on the legs, arms, hands... To make it easier for the MUA to airbrush only arms, I chose the full length chiffon, since our ceremony is on the beach in July. Are you having a inside or outside wedding? Black-tie or semi-formal? These are some of the questions to help you decide which way to go on the dresses. Have you talked to the girls for their opinions?

Winter we share the same colors. My primary colors are platinum, pewter, and deep cream for the ceremony and adding plum for the reception. The ladies helped me with the plum, so glad I took their advice. I also see you have the bouquet with the ribbon from Squareroot. I'm taking that pic to my florists to see if they can do that ribbon treatment, I love it.

Full length but it'll be November so I kinda sorta let the weather dictate what length they would be wearing.

I just texted my BM's to see what they thoughtMy MOH says full length, my other BM who is getting married in June is having cocktail length but her wedding is outside and not too formal. Still waiting for the others to respond.I'm having a church ceremony and my reception is inside so I guess it's kind of formalOh, decisions decisions...

I'm having the same debate as you! I wanna do cocktail length because I really want my reception to feel like a cocktail party (so that would make sense right???) but all of the ones I like have been floor length chiffon. I almost want to get them made but I don't want to have to cut anybody for having my girls looking crazy! lol. My wedding and reception is outdoors in May btw. Good Luck!

I feel where you're coming from ddyoung.  Even though my wedding is kind of formal I want my reception to feel like a cocktail party.  I plan to get my dance on and I don't want my girls to feel restricted in full length dresses when they're dancing.  I'm still waiting to see what all my bm's think about it...
