African American Weddings

Honestly? Just let it run its course. It just might be a phase you're going through. After a while, you're not going to care about weddings. I didn't really care about wedding-related stuff for years until I actually got engaged. Even now, I'm still on the fence about some things. Look at the bright side: you're already planning your wedding in a sense, so when it comes to the actual planning, you know what you want. (I will warn you, you'll still change your mind every other minute, though...)

You can always help someone plan her wedding (hint, hint).

Have you thought about getting into wedding planning? If it turns out that this is not just a phase...then you may have found an career! (if you don't already have one) Its always a wonderful to do something you love and enjoy for a living.

you can always help others plan...You just may be discovering a talent you never knew you had. But for yourself, start working on an "idea" scrapbook! So when that time comes, you will already have your planning done!

Yup, I say do a little planning on the side. Maybe become a DOC. Though, dont pressure your man or tell him about the nightly dreams you have about your dress, decor and shades of blush and bashful. lol Might scare the man off!

I agree with pp. Follow your bliss, you may have stumbled on to your true passion.

I agree with all pp, put some ads up and turn your "insanity" into a side biz.  It can be very lucrative.  I will tell you this, when that time comes and you and your bf are ready to take that next step, DO NOT make the mistake of alot of women and become more in love with the idea of having a beautiful wedding vs. the marriage itself. I tell you one thing, when you plan your own wedding it is going to be the SHPIT!!!  I agree with everyone else, you should consider going into planning.  It definately is a lucrative business...my goodness!!! There should be a law against how much some of these people jack the prices up just because u say the word wedding.

Sounds like someone should be a wedding planner, lol!  They do have wedding planning courses.  Maybe it's something you should really look into.

It may just be a phase or a calling in your life. Maybe you should pursue event/wedding planning on the side. This could also be your subconscious saying that you want to be married.
